KC beat MVK 3-0 for the second time in three days and open the Swiss Stage against Anyone's Legend on October 23 in Allen, Texas.
Karmine Corp are through to the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage. The LEC side swept MVK Esports 3-0 in the Play-In final in Los Angeles on October 18, their second 3-0 over MVK in three days, and took the last of the 16 Swiss spots.
Three games, none of them close
No game reached the 30-minute mark.
- Game 1: KC forced a fight in the mid lane, wiped MVK and closed it out with a 13-2 kill score.
- Game 2: Jungler Yike kept invading MVK's jungle and stealing camps, Canna built an early lead in the top lane, and KC stretched their gold lead to 15,000.
- Game 3: MVK's aggressive picks traded kills in every lane, but KC took the first Baron, Caliste pulled ahead in the bottom lane, and the game ended 25-12 on kills.
Two sweeps in three days
KC's Play-In started with a scare. They needed five games to get past Cloud9 on October 15, then swept MVK 3-0 in the upper bracket final a day later.
MVK earned the rematch the long way. After sweeping FURIA on day one, they beat FURIA again, 3-1, on October 17 to knock them out. The second meeting with KC went the same way as the first.
Anyone's Legend first in Allen
The Swiss Stage draw followed the final, and it gives KC Anyone's Legend in Round 1. From the fourth draw tier, KC were always going to face one of the four top-tier teams, and G2 Esports was ruled out because teams from the same region can't meet in the opening round.
The Swiss Stage runs October 23 to 31 in Allen, Texas. Sixteen teams play best-of-one and best-of-three matches: three wins send a team to the Knockout Stage, and three losses end its Worlds. The final is on November 14 in Brooklyn.
