The 1,911-piece set costs $179.99 and rebuilds the console and its controller at near 1:1 scale, with working Open and Power buttons.

The LEGO Group’s first PlayStation set is now on general sale. The LEGO PlayStation (72306) is a 1,911-piece model of the original PlayStation console and its first controller, designed for adult builders and rated 18+.
From Insiders to everyone
- October 1: the set opened to LEGO Insiders and on PlayStation’s own online store.
- October 3: the Insiders-only window ended.
- October 4: it went on sale to everyone at LEGO.com and LEGO Stores.
Working buttons and two hidden dioramas
The set is a near 1:1 scale replica that measures more than 2.5 inches (6 cm) high, 10.5 inches (26 cm) wide and 7.5 inches (19 cm) deep. The Open and Power buttons work, and the brick-built controller plugs into the console.
Pop the console open and there’s more. Inside are two buildable dioramas: a miniature track from Gran Turismo, first released in 1997, with tiny cars, and an island scene from 1999’s Ape Escape, where the light on the monkey’s helmet can be switched between red and blue. Both can stay hidden inside the console or come out to stand beside it.
