Magic: The Gathering's Fallout Rad Superdrop brings the TV show cast and New Vegas to Secret Lair, deepening the game's Universes Beyond collectible lineage.

Fallout returns to Magic
Magic: The Gathering's crossover machine rolled back into the wasteland in 2026. Wizards of the Coast launched a four-set Fallout Rad Superdrop through its Secret Lair program, going on sale from January 26, 2026, and notably marking the first Secret Lair also sold on Amazon. It builds on Fallout's earlier Magic crossover and cements the franchise's place in the game's Universes Beyond collectible lineage.
The drop is notable for bringing both the hit Fallout television show and the fan-favorite New Vegas game into the card pool.
What is in the drop
The four sets each target a different corner of Fallout fandom:
- Beyond Vault 33 is the first Magic set to feature the Fallout TV show cast, including Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul, priced at $39.99 non-foil and $49.99 foil.
- Welcome To New Vegas pulls from the beloved game with cards like Benny and Joshua Graham, at $29.99 non-foil and $39.99 foil.
- Two more three-card sets, Greet the Dog and Rad, cover canine companions and radioactive creatures at the same pricing.
- Orders above $149 earned a bonus Silver Shroud card, a Fallout 4 nod and a spend-threshold chase item.
Why it matters for collectors
The drop sits at the intersection of two hot collectibles trends: Magic's Universes Beyond crossovers and the enduring popularity of Fallout. Universes Beyond has become a commercial juggernaut for Wizards, blending Magic with outside franchises, and the record-breaking Final Fantasy set showed just how much demand these crossovers can generate. Bringing Fallout back, now with the TV show's cast, taps into a property riding high on mainstream attention.
Featuring the show's actors is the headline for collectors, since it connects the cards directly to the version of Fallout that reached the widest audience. The inclusion of New Vegas content, meanwhile, is a deliberate nod to longtime game fans who hold that entry in especially high regard, and its characters are likely to be popular chase cards.
The Silver Shroud spend-threshold bonus is a classic tactic to drive larger orders, and such incentive cards typically spike in secondary-market demand. Selling a Secret Lair on Amazon for the first time also signals Wizards broadening its reach beyond the usual channels.
Because the drop went live in late January, it is best understood as an established 2026 product rather than breaking news, but for collectors of gaming crossovers it remains a standout. The Fallout Rad Superdrop shows how thoroughly gaming IP now permeates the trading card space.
