Modern Warfare 4 Roadmap Puts Season 1 on November 6, Shipment on October 27

Launch day brings 20 multiplayer maps and 13 modes, with the new Possession mode on October 29 and Infected on October 30.
Mark November 6 for Season 1. Call of Duty’s Modern Warfare 4 launch roadmap, published October 14, sets that date for both Modern Warfare 4 and Call of Duty: Warzone. It also lists every multiplayer map and mode playable when the full game launches on October 23, plus three additions before Season 1.

All twenty launch maps
- Core 6v6: Cachette, Coal, Lithium, Lotus, Mumbai, Munition, Nautical, Reactor U92, Rooftops, Sentry, Silkworm and Transit 213, for 12 in all
- Ground War: Wolves Stadium, Forest and Imjin Farmland
- Gunfight: Smuggler, NYC, Café and Library
- Kill Block: the Westbridge Training Facility, which reconfigures its layout between rounds, with more than 500 configurations possible at launch
Inflation, Collateral and the other new modes
Four of the thirteen launch modes are new: Hijack, Inflation, Collateral and Ground War: Combat Outpost. In Inflation, every elimination drops a cash bounty, and the team holding the most cash wins.
Collateral is a 5v5 take on Search & Destroy. Players earn cash to buy gear each round and lose their loadout when they die. Frontline, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Kill Confirmed, Domination, Team Deathmatch, Free-for-All, Gun Game and Gunfight complete the lineup.
Season 1, BlackCell and the Battle Pass
For Warzone, Activision has already said Season 1 adds an optional Operator Skin toggle that shows only Modern Warfare 4 Operators. It has also confirmed that BlackCell and the Battle Pass become available in Modern Warfare 4 when the Season 1 Battle Pass goes live.
