ROG Xbox Ally X20 Arrives With a 7.4-Inch OLED Screen for $1,299.99

ASUS’s 20th-anniversary handheld adds magnetic TMR sticks and an 80Wh battery, and a $2,499.99 bundle pairs it with XREAL AR glasses.
ROG is 20, and it’s celebrating with an OLED handheld. ASUS Republic of Gamers put the ROG Xbox Ally X20 on sale on October 15, a special edition marking 20 years since ROG was formed in 2006. It costs $1,299.99 on its own at the ASUS Store, or $2,499.99 in a bundle.

Drift-resistant sticks and a switchable D-pad
The thumbsticks use magnetic TMR sensors to reduce the risk of stick drift, and they have a 3% dead zone. The D-pad switches between four-way and eight-way movement without tools.
ASUS also redesigned the cooling around three airflow paths, which it says improves airflow by 20%. There’s a Travel Mode too, which limits charging power to 65W.

The cheaper Ally models stay on sale
The X20 doesn’t replace the existing models. The ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X stay on sale at their original prices of $599 and $999, so if you don’t need the OLED screen, you can still pick a cheaper model.
