ESL One Munich 2027 Brings Dota 2 to BMW Park, With Tickets From €129 on November 5

ESL One, the Dota 2 event, makes its Munich debut in 2027. ESL announced on October 29 that the next ESL One will be held at BMW Park in April, and tickets go live on Thursday, November 5, at 3pm CET, starting at €129 for a weekend ticket.

The event site lists 16 teams, all on LAN, and $1,000,000 among its key figures. It doesn’t say what the $1,000,000 covers. ESL Dota 2 also posted a 59-second trailer, ESL One Munich Arrives, on YouTube on October 29.

When is ESL One Munich?

ESL’s two official pages don’t give the same dates. The October 29 blog post says ESL One will be held at BMW Park from April 4 to 11. The event site lists Friday, April 9, to Sunday, April 11, 2027, at BMW Park Arena, and separately gives April 4 as the date the tournament starts.

A basketball arena with a full LED floor

ESL says BMW Park is primarily a basketball arena, with courtside VIP seating and a full LED floor. The blog post calls the venue BMW Park, while the event site calls it BMW Park Arena.

The same post names the Arsenal Magus (Invoker) as the event’s mascot and thanks John Patrick-Lowrie for voicing the announcement trailer. It also looks back at ESL One Birmingham 2026, held at the BP Pulse Live arena in the spring.

Ticket prices and seating

Tickets go on sale on November 5 at 3pm CET. The event site lists four weekend tiers:

Upper Ranks, at €129, is the cheapest tier and the only one with free seating: ESL says all seats in the Upper Central and Premium/Ultimate sections are now reserved. For this event, ESL has also raised the limit to 12 tickets per purchase so groups can book together.

An ESL One+ Upgrade costs €99 and includes a goodie bag that ESL values at €235, with items such as:

• An event hoodie and an event tee
• A collectible coin
• Socks
• A pin button
