FaZe Clan defended their Rainbow Six crown with a 2-0 win over Team Secret at the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris, storming the upper bracket to repeat as champions.
A successful title defense
FaZe Clan proved their Rainbow Six pedigree is no fluke. At the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris, the Brazilian roster beat Team Secret 2-0 in the Grand Final, taking Consulate 7-4 and Bank 7-2 to go back-to-back as the sport's world champions. As the 2025 winners, FaZe successfully defended the most prestigious trophy in Rainbow Six.
The final framed a classic regional clash: FaZe representing Brazil against Team Secret out of Europe, the same Secret side that had won the Rainbow Six event at the previous Esports World Cup.
How FaZe got there
FaZe's tournament was a demonstration of dominance through the upper bracket:
- They powered through the upper side, including a 7-0 demolition of Team Falcons on Lair.
- Team Secret reached the final the hard way, through the lower bracket, after losing earlier to Falcons.
- The 2-0 final gave FaZe the title without dropping a map on the last day.
Beating a strong Falcons side that convincingly along the way only underscored how sharp FaZe were across the event.
The wider Rainbow Six picture
The Six Invitational sits at the heart of a busy Rainbow Six calendar. Earlier in 2026, DarkZero beat Shopify Rebellion in the North American Grand Final at the R6 Salt Lake City Major, showing NA's continued strength, while Europe and Brazil met on the sport's grandest stage in Paris. Falcons, meanwhile, are simultaneously chasing a double crown in Dota 2 at the Esports World Cup, where they entered as reigning Dota champions.
For FaZe, repeating as Six Invitational champions cements the roster among the best of this era. Winning it once can be a peak; defending it signals a dynasty in the making. The back-to-back titles give the Brazilian side a claim to being the definitive team in Rainbow Six right now.
With the Esports World Cup looming and rosters shifting across the scene, FaZe's challenge shifts from winning the crown to holding it against a field that will be gunning for them all year. On the evidence of Paris, they remain the team to beat.
