Count Brickula’s Crypt arrives October 29, two creator-made builds drop in, and mobile players get a cleaner control layout.

Halloween has reached LEGO Fortnite Odyssey. The Brick or Treat update arrived on October 15, and Epic’s LEGO Fortnite team says everything in it, including a new Journal entry packed with quests and Halloween props, is available until November 12.
Look up, too. The moon over Odyssey now grins down as a Jack-o’-Lantern, and new creatures have appeared that Epic is challenging players to tame.
Journal props, week by week
The Journal’s rewards unlock on a weekly schedule:
- October 15: three Kraken props.
- October 22: Calcitor’s Jaws, a set of five props.
- October 29: Count Brickula’s Crypt, with four props: a coffin, a gargoyle and two gravestones.
Two Creator Builds and a run of riddles
Two more Creator Builds are coming to Odyssey. Bakeneco’s Pumpkin Juggernaut is available now: drop into Odyssey and tap the pop-up to claim it. Kaz’s Haunted Cheese Hideaway follows on October 22. Each carries a Creator Crest, a badge showing it came from a creator.
Epic is also posting Halloween riddles on LEGO Fortnite’s X, Reddit and Discord channels.
Mobile controls get a cleanup
Playing on mobile? Here’s what changed:
- Every ranged weapon now has an aim-and-zoom secondary ability.
- Two-handed melee weapons such as Nunchucks, Scythes, Dual Daggers and Two-Handed Hammers use a toggle for theirs.
- The button layout is recentered, and the Crouch input is gone.
- The Quickbar shows eight slots, with no off-hand slot.
The update also fixes worlds that failed to generate both NaNa Villages, along with The Thing From Beneath quests that wouldn’t progress across multiple worlds. The last props unlock on October 29, and you have until November 12 to collect everything.
