A first international crown

Leviatan gave Latin American Valorant its signature moment. At Masters London 2026, the org beat Paper Rex 3-2 in the Grand Final to win its first-ever international trophy. The event ran from June 6 to 21 in London, and Leviatan's path to the title was the stuff of bracket legend.

Paper Rex had beaten Leviatan 2-0 earlier in the event, sending the LATAM side to the lower bracket. Leviatan responded by running it back through elimination matches and then reversing the result on the biggest stage, a full-circle redemption arc across a single tournament.

A star is born

The breakout performer was 18-year-old Bruno Neon Rodriguez, named MVP of the event. Announcing yourself as a teenager by carrying your region to its first international title is about as strong a debut as the scene offers. The prize breakdown reflected the stakes:

  • A $1 million total prize pool.
  • $350,000 to Leviatan as champions.
  • $200,000 to runners-up Paper Rex.

Record-breaking numbers

London was not just a competitive high point but a viewership one. It became the most-watched Valorant Masters of 2026, with a peak of more than 1.06 million viewers, 26.9 million hours watched, and an average of 382,100 viewers. That peak was up nearly 21 percent over the earlier Masters Santiago stop's 883,064, showing the scene's audience is still growing.

The victory resonates well beyond the trophy. Latin America has long produced passionate Valorant fans and talented players, but an international title had eluded the region until now. Leviatan's win, powered by a homegrown teenage star, validates years of investment and gives LATAM fans a definitive answer to anyone doubting the region's ceiling.

With the lower-bracket run, the star-making MVP performance, and the record audience, Masters London 2026 checked every box a marquee Valorant event could. For Leviatan, it is the moment the org and its region had been building toward, and Neon looks like a player who will be contending for many more.
