Transparent DualSense wireless controllers and matching PS5 console covers are coming in three colors. Sony revealed the Prism Collection on October 28 in Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray; pre-orders open on Tuesday, November 10, and the line launches starting Thursday, February 4, 2027.
Controllers cost $84.99 and covers $74.99 in the U.S., and prices for other regions are in the table below. Sony frames the collection as a modern take on the see-through look of the late ’90s.

Each color is finished with a premium glossy sheen. Designer Satoshi Aoyagi describes them this way:
- Flare Orange takes on a rosy hue where the transparent material overlaps.
- Emerald Green is a deep hunter green.
- Graphite Gray is a cool-toned storm gray.
Each design comes on both the DualSense controller and a matching PS5 console cover.
A late-’90s trend, redesigned for PS5
Leo Cardoso of Sony’s Color, Material, and Finish design team said the goal was to bring back the iconic see-through trend of the late ’90s in a modern way that complements the PS5’s industrial design.
Aoyagi added that the high-gloss clear finish extends across the back of the controller, with a metallic finish on the middle cover.
