Riot’s “Rise and Fall” trailer introduces Hush, a Duelist from Guangdong, China, who joins the game during Season 26 Act VI.
Valorant’s next agent is Hush. Riot Games revealed the new Duelist on October 18 in “Rise and Fall,” an agent trailer posted to the official Valorant YouTube channel at 2 AM Eastern, the scheduled start of the Champions Shanghai grand final.
A reality-bending Duelist from Guangdong
Riot introduces Hush in the trailer’s description:
Rewrite the rules of the battlefield with Hush: VALORANT Protocol’s new reality-bending Duelist joining from Guangdong, China.
That description also says Hush will be available in Season 26 Act VI, the act that opened with Patch 13.08 on October 13. The reveal doesn’t give an exact date, and the trailer itself doesn’t detail Hush’s abilities. A follow-up clip on the same channel calls Hush a “telekinetic Duelist” and invites players to get to know the full kit.
From “Final Word” to the big reveal
The trailer pays off “Final Word,” the teaser Riot released on October 15, and the grand finals weekend preview, which promised a new agent on the Champions broadcast. Riot’s official Valorant account followed it with a short post of its own: “Shh... Hush is here.”
The music and the studio
The trailer runs 2:42, and Riot made it in partnership with Brunch Studios. The song credits:
- “It’s You,” performed by Karencici
- Written by Karencici and Kvnloverboy
- Produced by Kvnloverboy
Act VI is live while you wait
You can watch the trailer on the official Valorant YouTube channel now. Act VI is already underway, with its new Map Rating system and a competitive pool that swapped Ascent and Split for Bind and Corrode. We’ll break down Hush’s abilities, and add a release date as soon as Riot confirms it.
