Valorant has a new agent on the way, and Riot Games is saving the reveal for the biggest stage of the year. It will unveil the agent live on the Champions Shanghai broadcast before the grand final on October 18, following a teaser titled “Final Word” that Riot released on October 15.
The teaser and Riot’s grand finals weekend preview confirm that a reveal is coming and when it will happen. Everything else is still under wraps.

Why we’re not reporting the leaks
Claims about the agent’s details are already circulating, but they come from leaks rather than from Riot. We’re waiting for the broadcast before reporting any of them.
A crowded finale for the season
The reveal shares the stage with the biggest match of the year. Grand final day opens with a “Frag or Die” ceremony at Mercedes-Benz Arena before the last two teams of Champions 2026 walk out, and the new agent arrives on the same broadcast.
It also lands during a busy stretch for the game itself. Patch 13.08 started Act 6 on October 13 with a new Map Rating system and a rotated map pool, and Riot has said Patch 14.00 will bring Competitive Flex and updates for Radiant players. We’ll cover the new agent’s kit as soon as Riot shares it.
