Riot’s September update brought a scoped 2,900-credit rifle, agent progression, Performance Score and the Gauntlet: Glitched mode.

Riot Games suggested Patch 13.06 might be the biggest patch Valorant has had. It arrived on September 22 with a lot packed in: a new rifle, agent progression, new ranked tools and a limited-time mode.
The Warden, by the numbers
Start with the Warden, a scoped automatic rifle. Here’s how it looks on paper:
| Stat | Warden |
|---|---|
| Cost | 2,900 credits |
| Scope | 2x |
| Magazine | 18 rounds |
| Body damage, every range | 50 |
| Head damage | 200 |
| Leg damage | 42 |
| Fire rate | 6.5 |
| Wall penetration | Medium |
New ways to track your play
- Agent Mastery tracks how much you play each agent through Act levels, which reset each act, and permanent Lifetime levels, with portrait accents at Act levels 4, 7 and 10.
- Performance Score replaces Average Combat Score. It runs from 0 to 500, measures more than damage and kills, and decides MVPs and scoreboard order in Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay and Premier.
- Accolades record personal bests in Competitive and Premier.
- Rank Legacy shows how many times you’ve reached each rank.
- Range warm-ups let you practice in the Range while queuing for most modes, so you can stay sharp between matches.
Gauntlet: Glitched, then Patch 14.00
The limited-time mode is Gauntlet: Glitched. Eight duos play 2v2 rounds, lose health when they lose a round and draft random abilities in between, and upgraded abilities can pick up glitched properties.
Already looking past it? Riot says Patch 14.00 will add Competitive Flex and updates for Radiant players.
