Act 6 opens with a private rating for every map, Corrode changes, and Bind and Corrode back in the competitive pool.

Valorant now grades you map by map. Patch 13.08 arrived on October 13 and opened Act 6, and its headline feature is Map Rating, a new way to see how you perform on each map. Changes to Corrode and a new competitive map pool round it out.
How Map Rating works
Think of it as a per-map report card.
- You get a score from 0 to 500 and a letter grade from C to S on every map.
- The rating is built from your win rate, your attack and defense win rates, and Performance Score.
- It covers Competitive and Premier.
- Other players can’t see your ratings.
- Everyone starts fresh, because matches played before the launch don’t count.
Performance Score was adjusted too, giving more weight to damage and to adjusted kills and deaths, with separate tweaks for Chamber.
Inside the Corrode changes
Shorter Defender rotations
Corrode’s Defenders get shorter rotation paths into the backs of A and B sites.
Mid and Lower Mid
The Mid half wall is now metal and sits one meter further out. The Lower Mid boxes moved toward B with a new jump-up, and the Lower Mid wall was raised to stop a peek.
Post-plant on A
The A site plant zone was also adjusted with post-plant positions in mind.
Ascent and Split rotate out
Bind and Corrode are now in the Competitive and Deathmatch queues, replacing Ascent and Split.
Getting into a match looks different, too. The patch adds a new screen for choosing queues and modes in both matchmade and custom games.
