Dual Fusion Is Live in Pokémon TCG Pocket With Its First Dual-Type Pokémon

Mega Mewtwo X ex and Mega Greninja ex lead the expansion, and second-anniversary events begin with a gift ticket for a booster pack with a guaranteed ★★ card.
Dual-type Pokémon have arrived in Pokémon TCG Pocket. The Dual Fusion expansion went live on Wednesday, October 28, at 6:00 p.m. PDT, led by the Psychic- and Fighting-type Mega Mewtwo X ex and the Water- and Darkness-type Mega Greninja ex.
It also opens the game’s second-anniversary celebrations. Pokémon TCG Pocket was released on October 30, 2024, and the events arriving alongside Dual Fusion run until January 26, 2027.

Alongside the new cards, Dual Fusion brings:
- Covers and backdrops featuring Mega Greninja, available starting Saturday, October 31
- Six Dual Fusion rental decks, available until December 15, 2026, at 5:59 p.m. PST and replaced when the next booster pack releases
- A new Dragon-type elite deck sent to your Gifts, built around Mega Rayquaza ex and Dragonair from Ruler of the Skies and Gouging Fire from Paradox Drive
What’s the second-anniversary gift?
The Second Anniversary Celebration Campaign runs from October 29 at 11:00 p.m. PDT to December 14 at 10:59 p.m. PST. During it, players are gifted a ticket that can be exchanged in the Shop for a booster pack guaranteed to include a ★★ rarity card.
The PROMO Reissue Event 2026 starts the same day and runs until November 12. It brings back B Series promo cards through drops, exchange tickets and Wonder Picks, with Chansey picks more likely than usual.
Handy Card Collection Missions also began on October 29 and run until January 26, 2027, awarding Trainer cards such as Sabrina and Red.

Dual Fusion limited battles only allow cards from Dual Fusion and Promo Card Pack C Series Vol. 1, with some exceptions.
