Rayman Legends Retold Moves to December 3

Ubisoft confirms a two-month delay, with a new overview trailer scheduled for September 22.

Rayman Legends Retold will now release on December 3, 2026, replacing its previously announced October 1 date. Ubisoft’s current game listing shows the new date for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
In a September 14 statement reproduced by Gematsu, the development team says the game has gone gold but will receive additional time for polish. Ubisoft has not attributed the move to a competing release, so claims about which other game caused the delay remain speculation.
The next look is still coming this month
The team has scheduled a Game Overview trailer for September 22. Selected creators and press are also expected to share fresh hands-on impressions that day. That makes September 22 the next announced opportunity to assess the reimagining before its December launch.
Ubisoft describes Retold as a new take on the 2013 platformer, with refreshed visuals, a revised story, additional musical stages, dragon rides, and a new realm to explore. Solo play and local co-op for up to four players are supported, and the package includes Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition.
For anyone planning an October co-op session around the release, the calendar change is the key detail: December 3 is the current confirmed date. The older October date still appears in historical announcement material, but it has been superseded by Ubisoft’s updated listing and the development team’s statement.
