Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Observe Before You Infiltrate

Ubisoft’s Shadows stealth overview gives both protagonists an Observe function while reserving Eagle Vision for Naoe. Light, shadows, posture, and enemy awareness all play into an infiltration. Plan an entrance and an exit

Look for patrol overlaps, cover, and a route away from the objective. An easy first takedown can still leave you in a difficult position if another guard has a clear view of the approach. Identify where you will pause to reassess after entering.

Try one tool or movement change at a time. A quieter posture or a darkened route is easier to understand when you can see exactly how it changes the situation.

Treat detection as new information

If a plan fails, notice who detected you and from where. That is more useful than immediately repeating the same approach faster. Decide whether to escape, reposition, or change your objective rather than assuming every alert must become a full fight. Our practice suggestion is to revisit a small area with a different entrance. Seeing the same patrol pattern from another direction can teach more than clearing a much larger location through improvisation alone.
