Volume 2 tightens the Templars’ grip
The series is set as the Templar Order expands its power across Japan. It follows an Assassin and his young apprentice on the road to Iga, the birthplace of ninjutsu, where they seek help from legendary shinobi. Among them are Hattori Hanzo and Momochi Sandayu.
Volume 2 raises the stakes. In VIZ’s description, the people of Iga learn how dangerous it is to protect their land, while the Templars tighten their grip just as hope begins to take root. That leaves readers with one question: will the Assassins and their new allies be enough to turn the tide?
