October’s catalog refresh mixes major PS5 adventures with a day-one co-op release and two additions for Premium members.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium refresh their Game Catalog on October 20 with Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West, and the day-one PlayStation release of Mycopunk leading the lineup. The update covers a mix of PS5 and PS4 games, while two additional titles join the Premium classics collection.
The main catalog spans crime, machines, and co-op fungus
Mafia: The Old Country follows Enzo Favara through the criminal underworld of early-1900s Sicily. Horizon Forbidden West returns Aloy to a machine-filled frontier on both PS5 and PS4. Mycopunk, available on PS5, is a four-player mission-based looter shooter about a crew of robot exterminators fighting a planet-wide fungal threat.
The wider Extra and Premium list also includes Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, The Midnight Walk, Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition, and Monster Energy Supercross 25. Regional release dates vary for several of those games, with some arriving October 27 rather than on the main October 20 refresh.
Premium brings back two very different classics
Dino Crisis 2 joins the PS5 and PS4 classics catalog with Regina and Dylan battling through a Cretaceous landscape filled with more than ten dinosaur species. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition adds scenario-based park management and an open sandbox mode. Together, the pair gives Premium members a survival-action throwback and a management game built for longer creative sessions.
